Championship banners for schools are custom banners that record a team's title, such as a state championship, conference championship, or league championship, and hang in the gym or field house as a permanent record of the win. Awards America makes championship banners in your exact school colors, with your mascot, sport, and year, so each title sits cleanly alongside the ones before it. Whether you need a single banner for this season's title or a matching set to replace an aging wall, every banner is custom made and manufactured in the USA.
What are championship banners for schools?
A championship banner is a large, wall-mounted banner that names a specific team achievement, the sport, the level of the title, and the year it was won. Schools hang them in the gymnasium, field house, or stadium so students, families, and visiting teams can see the program's history at a glance. Most are made from durable banner fabric or vinyl, printed or appliqued in school colors, and finished with grommets or pole pockets so they hang flat and stay readable from across the court. Awards America builds them to match, so a wall of banners looks like one consistent set rather than a mix of styles collected over the years.

Design and customization options
Every championship banner is made to order. You choose the size to fit your gym wall, the banner material, and the colors to match your school palette, then add your mascot, sport, title, and year. Multi-year banners can list several championships on one banner, or you can order individual banners in a matching layout so each new title extends the wall. Backgrounds, borders, and trim are set to your colors, and finishing options such as grommets, pole pockets, and reinforced hems keep the banner hanging flat and readable. Championship banners pair naturally with the rest of a recognition program, so many schools order them alongside our custom recognition banners to cover team, individual, and program achievements in one consistent look.
Why choose Awards America for championship banners?
- Made in the USA with the same quality used across our athletic awards line.
- True school-color matching so a new banner blends into an existing wall.
- Durable materials and finishing built to hang in a gym or field house for years.
- Program-friendly ordering for schools that add a banner each season or refresh a whole set at once.
Championship banners work best as part of a wider recognition wall, so many schools pair them with our custom twill and vinyl banners to cover every team, season, and milestone in the building.

What are championship banners for schools?
Championship banners for schools are custom, wall-mounted banners that record a team's title, such as a state, conference, or league championship, along with the sport and year. They hang in the gym, field house, or stadium as a permanent record of the win, and are made in school colors to match the rest of the program's recognition items.
Can championship banners be made in our school colors?
Yes. Every championship banner is custom made in your chosen colors and can include your mascot, sport, title, and year, so a new banner matches the ones already hanging and keeps the whole wall consistent.
What sizes do championship banners come in?
Championship banners are made to order and sized to fit your gym or field house wall. Common sizes range from smaller single-title banners to large multi-year banners, and we help you choose a size that stays readable from across the court and lines up with any banners you already have.
How are championship banners hung?
Banners are finished with your choice of grommets, pole pockets, or reinforced hems so they hang flat and stay taut. We recommend the finishing option based on how and where you plan to mount the banner, whether that is a gym wall, a rafter, or a stadium fence.
How do schools order championship banners?
Schools share their colors, mascot, the sports and titles they want to display, and any layout preferences, then request a quote. You can order a single banner for a new title or a matching set to outfit a whole wall, and we build each one to match your program.
